At safety, the Rebels have completely revamped the unit, bringing in Joenel Aguero (Georgia), Edwin Joseph (Florida State), and Sharif Denson (Florida). Aguero, a former full-time starter at Georgia, wanted to move to safety and will likely lead the back end. Denson and Joseph both have extensive nickel experience, giving defensive coordinator Pete Golding the flexibility to rotate these versatile safeties across multiple positions — a tactic that could be key against Louisville's motion-heavy offense.
